The "Uncharted" franchise is one of the best of all console game franchises out there. Each one I've played, I have enjoyed as a gamer and always received a "wow" moment or two while playing the games. Naughty Dog truly is one of the best gaming studios around.

With that, a little criticism about "A Thief's End". It was almost boring in some places and there were many tasks the player had to repeat to get through a chapter. I'm not sure this is a negative, per se, with this game. This might be the last game of the franchise and Naughty Dog is giving us our money's worth. In the middle of playing this game, I got an XBox One and started to play the new "Tomb Raider: Rise of the Tomb Raider". That's a rated "M" game - providing a more adult take on action-adventure console games - and Thief is rated "T". That's fine and doesn't diminish Thief at all, but what really stood out between the two titles was the reward system. Tomb really delivered; and when I went back to Thief, I felt something was missing. The little treasures found far and few between wasn't enough for complete satisfaction.
Understanding that Tomb is more sandbox orientated where rewards count more, my feeling is that Thief could have added something to the last Uncharted to step up (just ever so) to get that last bit of complete gamer satisfaction feeling.
But I'm cutting hairs. This game is great, like the other Uncharted games. My rating is for within the franchise itself. I would give it a 9.8 if I could when comparing it to the many other games I've played.
This game left me breath-taken, just wow! The story, the crazy action, the too beautiful landscapes, the Characters, their dialogues and acting, the music, the directing, the atmosphere and just everything about it, make this game simply the most complete gaming experience there is! What Uncharted 4 accomplishes is art at its purest levels.
